    Getting Involved

Getting involved is a great way to engage with the social life of Baruch and ease your transition to the College. Involvement complements your academic experience and affords you the opportunity to strengthen your leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Transfer Student Organization (TSO)

The Transfer Student Organization is dedicated to helping transfer students make the most of their experience at baruch. Founded by undergraduate students who understand the transfer journey firsthand, the organization creates opportunities for students to connect, get involved, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.  We encourage you to check it out and get involved. Most undergraduate clubs meet on Thursdays, 12:40 to 2:20 pm (Club Hours).

    Office of Student Life
The Office of Student Life develops the co-curricular college experience of Baruch students through a rich array of educationally diverse programs, opportunities for leadership and civic engagement, club and organization development, and community building. Through its varied program opportunities, the Office contributes toward the physical, emotional, and spiritual development of students.

    Athletics & Recreation
The Department of Athletics & Recreation aims to educate and develop individual student-athletes and participants by providing opportunities to participate in competitive intercollegiate or recreational sports programs.

    Undergraduate Student Government (USG)
The voice of undergraduate students at Baruch.  Through USG, students have the opportunity to advocate for the student body, shape campus initiatives, and support student clubs and organizations. Getting involved in student government is a great way to build leadership experience, stay informed about what’s happening on campus, and play an active role in the Baruch community.

Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship
The Entrepreneurship Center is a hub for students interested in innovation, startups, and bringing ideas to life. Whether you already have a business idea or are just curious about entrepreneurship, the Center offers workshops, events, mentorship, and resources to help you explore and develop your interests. It’s a great way to connect with other motivated students, learn from industry professionals, and learn how to take an idea from concept to reality.

    New Student Programs (NSP)
The Office of New Student Programs offers leadership opportunities for students who want to play an active role in welcoming and supporting New Bearcats. Through roles like Orientation Leader and Peer Mentor, students help guide incoming first-year and transfer students as they begin their college journey. In these roles, students build communication skills, develop confidence, support peers through transition, and learn to work as part of a team. NSP often becomes a home away from home – a close-knit community of student leaders. It’s a chance to gain hands-on leadership experience, connect with Baruch community, and make a meaningful impact on new students. Check the Join Our Team page for more information.
