First Year Student Orientation
Welcome to Baruch College!
Fall 2024
Your first introduction to life at Baruch will be your New Student Orientation. Your academic advisors and orientation leaders look forward to welcoming you and helping you navigate this exciting transition. Orientation programs for fall will begin in May and be offered through August and in January for spring enrollment.
Review our website to learn more about Baruch’s Orientation program and follow the Steps to Orientation below to confirm your Orientation date.
Step 1: Complete all of Your Admitted Student Requirements
Step 2: Receive an invitation to orientation to your email address listed in Navigate
Step 3: Log into Navigate and sign up for an orientation date
- Arrive on campus for check-in at 9:30 am
- Plan to stay until the end of the program at 4:30 pm
- Learn about life at Baruch from Orientation Leaders
- Meet your future classmates and friends
- Get a campus tour and be introduced to resources
- Take your picture and receive your Baruch Student ID Card
- Review your first-semester class schedule
- Get excited to become a Bearcat!
- Complete the “Orientation Prep: Your Essential Guide” located in your orientation confirmation email
- Submit important forms and documents
- Intended Major (to change your major)
- Transcripts and AP scores
You will automatically be enrolled into your class schedule for the Fall 2024 semester and will be able to view your schedule on your orientation day. Your classes will be based on your intended major and incoming credits from AP exams and college transcripts. The “Orientation Prep: Your Essential Guide” must be completed to receive a schedule.
