Eileen A Connelly

Eileen AJ Connelly is a working journalist with decades of experience covering breaking news, specializing in business news. She currently works at both the New York Post as a breaking news editor and at the entertainment trade publication TheWrap.com as a business news reporter.
During her career, she's covered a wide range of issues and events, from elections to mass shootings to massive hurricanes, and including 9/11 and the 2008 economic collapse.
Among the most effective work she's done was as transportation reporter for the Staten Island Advane, where her work helped lead to the elimination of the fare on the Staten Island Ferry and the only time the MTA reduced a fare, for express bus service.
She began teaching at Baruch in 2012.
