Edgar Rodriguez-Vazquez joined as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the City University of New York- Baruch College in the Fall of 2022. Edgar conducts financial archival research and his interests include understanding the role of earnings in providing information about uncertainty, investors’ integrating activities around earnings announcements, and investors’ pricing of non-GAAP exclusions.

Edgar holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Washington, a Master of Accounting from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico. Edgar has five years of work experience in the Audit and Accounting Advisory practice of EY in the New York and San Juan offices. Edgar served a variety of clients in the insurance and manufacturing industries.
