Angelo R. Dicuonzo is a Doctoral Lecturer in Spanish, Comparative Literature, and Italian. He holds an M.A. from the University of Bologna and a Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center.

His research interests include second language acquisition, composition studies, writing pedagogy, literary theory, novel history and criticism, semiotics, and psychoanalysis.

Before moving to New York, Dr. Dicuonzo worked as an editor. He has authored various journal essays and two monographs: L’ossessione della frode (Bologna: Il Mulino, 2021), on Italian novelist Carlo Emilio Gadda, and Il limbo della scrittura (Rome: Studium, 2021), on Mexican novelist Juan Rulfo.
