German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Study Scholarship

Highly qualified graduating seniors (fourth or final year of undergraduate studies) or those who have received an undergraduate degree of all disciplines may apply for the DAAD Study Scholarship for a year of independent study or a full master's degree program at a German university. Applicants in the humanities and social sciences should have a good command of German. Monthly stipends are approximately 750 Euros. DAAD will cover health insurance and provide a flat rate subsidy for travel costs. In addition, limited funds are available for a rent subsidy and family allowance.

Foreign nationals may be eligible to apply if they have been full-time students at an American or Canadian university for at least one year at the time of application.
