Event Description:
Join the MakerHub to design and 3D print your own cellphone case!
Using TinkerCad 3D modeling software, you'll choose a basic 3D model of your phone, upload it to TinkerCad and customize your phone case as you please. You can add your name, a handgrip, a stand, a raised design, or anything you can think of. Consider basic improvements like smoothing sharp edges and adding clearance for USB connectors, chargers, headphones, etc.
Your creativity drives the final result.

Once you're satisfied with your design, we will manufacture your cellphone case using our 3D printers. You'll end up with a finished product and a one-of-a-kind cellphone case not seen in stores!

Please bring a laptop so that you can work on your own design during the workshop.
There is no need to pre-install TinkerCad: it is a free web application that allows you to save and access your designs from anywhere. We recommend that you set up an account prior to the workshop. They also have tutorials if you want to get a jump start.
