Accountants collect, maintain, and analyze financial records for organizations and compile reports for the use of managers, investors, creditors, regulators, and tax authorities. The Accountancy major prepares students for many accounting-related jobs, and some roles require a Master’s Degree or 150 credit Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. CPA’s must pass a national exam and meet additional requirements.
