NEW YORK, NY -- September 3, 2015 -- Baruch College and the Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity welcome Ciara Torres-Spelliscy from the Huffington Post as she presents "Shooting Your Brand in the Foot: How Corporate Political Spending Could Put Your Firm at Risk," on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 12:30 p.m.

In addition to her writing at Huffington Post, Torres-Spelliscy is an Associate Professor of Law at Stetson University, teaching courses in Election Law, Corporate Governance, Business Entities, and Constitutional Law. Prior to joining Stetson's faculty, Torres-Spelliscy was counsel in the Democracy Program of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law where she provided guidance on the issues of money in politics and the judiciary to state and federal lawmakers. She is the editor of the 2010 edition of the Brennan Center's campaign finance treatise, "Writing Reform: A Guide to Drafting State and Local Campaign Finance Laws."
