Fall & Spring Programs



The Fall & Spring College Now semester at Baruch College allows qualified students at our Partner High Schools to enroll in a variety of college credit bearing courses. These course offerings include, but are not limited to:

  • Cultural Anthropology (ANT 1000)
  • Introduction to Business (BUS 1000)
  • Jornalistic Writing (JRN 3050)
  • Philosophy (PHI 1500)
  • Psychology (PSY 1000)
  • Personal Finance (FIN 1601)
  • Writing 1 (ENG 2100)
  • Speech Communications (COM 1010)
  • Music in Civilizations (MSC 1003)
  • Critical Health Issues (HED 1191)
  • Black & Latino Studies (BLS 1003)
  • Pre-Calculus / Calculus  **Only offered to BCCHS**                               

These courses will award students with either 3 or 4 college credits upon successful (C grade or higher) of the course. For course descriptions please visit the Baruch College Undergraduate Bulletin. Note, course availability varies based on semester.

Eligibilty: The fall and spring Barcuh College Now semester are open NYC public high school Juniors & Seniors in our Partner High Schools with the following qaulifications:

  • SAT / PSAT Verbal (min. 480) or English Lanagauge Arts (ELA) Regents (min. 75)
  • SAT / PSAT Math (min. 480) or Math Regents (min. 50)
  • Studenst who use PSAT scorres to qualify for admission must have an overal GPA of 85.

Non-partner High School studenst are welcome to apply and will be considered based on qualification and space availability in our courses.

Dates: Classes during the Fall & Spring semester are either Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday from 4:10pm-5:25pm, depending on the specific class. Fall classes run from September to December. Spring classes run from February to May.

Location: All courses take place at Baruch College unless otherwise indicated.

Attendance Policy: Baruch College only allows 4 absenses per semester.
