Event Description:
The the 5th annual International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) at Baruch College is a two-day academic conference, held on 25th - 26th September 2018. ICUR is a conference with a difference - held concurrently in Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Africa, and the United States – ICUR connects undergraduate conference presenters from across the world on panels using cutting-edge video-conferencing technology. It is an exclusively undergraduate forum designed to showcase the best in undergraduate research from across the globe, and to provide a supportive environment for talented young scholars, many of whom are doing and presenting research for the first time. Students receive coaching in abstract writing and presentation skills. Baruch undergraduates from all disciplines and schools are encouraged to apply and the presentations feature a wide range of topics. The conference combines a global outreach with innovative technology and original research for a one-of-a-kind showcase of Baruch students' achievements. |
