The show will open on September 10 and run through December 1 at the New Media Artspace gallery in Baruch’s Library and Information Building, 151 E. 25th Street. While NeoGeo explores the Deep Time of the geologic record, Landfill Club, is a social practice project that "drills up" into future Deep Time.

The New Media Artspace is a teaching exhibition space in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Baruch College, CUNY. Housed in the Newman Library, the New Media Artspace showcases curated experimental media and interdisciplinary artworks by international artists, students, alumni, and faculty. Introduction to Bloomberg Professional for Equities

The Bloomberg I workshop is an introduction to the Bloomberg Professional service, a leading source of real-time and historical financial information. Bloomberg I covers navigation within the Bloomberg system and focuses on company stocks and equity markets.
Students will learn how facilities managers manage basic accounting, evaluate assets, control budgets, conduct financial audits, estimate costs for capital renewal and deferred maintenance programs, calculate lifecycle costing, payback, net present value, and depreciation. Financial risk management, financing options for operations and capital budgets, advantages of energy efficiency, financing utility upgrades with utility paybacks, debt financing options, and current replacement value calculations will be studied.

Zicklin Investment Club (ZIC) is hosting an upcoming event with special guest speaker, Alma Chen, head of the Analytic Development Group, Americas at S&P Capital IQ. Ms. Chen holds a master%u2019s degree in statistics from Texas A&M University and a bachelor%u2019s degree from Tsinghua University in China. She will share her insights about working in risk management and quantitative modeling, as well as what skills and experience she looks for when hiring candidates. She will also discuss what competencies are required to enter this profession and different career paths one can take. We hope that, by attending this event, students gain not only knowledge about risk management and quantitative modeling, but also practical advice about how to get their feet in the door at target companies.
