Sarah Kane’s final play, 4.48 Psychosis was first performed posthumously in 2000. Venables’ hard-hitting operatic version that swept London promises to bring a new resonance to the last creative utterances of one of the most courageous young British writers of her generation.

Produced by PROTOTYPE in association with New Vision for Opera NYC and Baruch Performing Arts Center.
