EXECUTIVE TAXATION SERIES- SEMINAR #1   

EXECUTIVE PROGRAMS ZICKLIN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DIVISION OF CONTINUING AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES. 

The Executive Taxation Series is offered by the Zicklin School of Business in partnership with the Division of Continuing Professional and Professional Studies at Baruch College. Through this Executive Series, Baruch provides alumni and other members of the tax community with an opportunity to earn up to 24 hours of CPE in taxation over the course of three seminars that will take place in the Fall of 2017. The inaugural session the 2017 series will be led and moderated by the renowned Sidney Kess, Esq., CPA, JD, LLM and chair of the Executive Taxation Series. The August 29th program will feature the following sessions and speakers:

About the Conference Chair:
Sidney Kess of Counsel, Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP, New York, NY, recently selected "Most Influential Practitioner" by CPA Magazine, is a nationally renowned tax expert and author/coauthor of hundreds of tax books on financial and estate planning. Having lectured to more than 850,000 practitioners on tax, financial and estate planning, he is one of the nation's best-known lecturers in continuing professional education. Mr. Kess is consulting editor of CCH Incorporated's Financial and Estate Planning Reporter. Mr. Kess was chairman of the advisory board of Tax Hotline and is a member of the PPC Tax Action Panel. He has edited a column on "Tax Tips" for the New York Law Journal for the past 45 years.

Location: the event will take place at the Baruch College Conference Center in New York City. Further room information will be available upon registration.

Bloomberg I: Introduction to Equity Research

The Bloomberg I workshop is an introduction to the Bloomberg Professional service, a leading source of real-time and historical financial information. Bloomberg I covers navigation within the Bloomberg system and focuses on equity markets and researching public companies.
12:40 PM - 2:20 PM Meet ALPFA
**This event takes place in NVC 9-145**
An introductory meeting for the new students. They will learn about our organiztion and meet the executive board.
