The Department of Psychology
Brian's current academic interests include how status in an organization effects how one is treated in the framework of social identity theory. In particular how temporary work and education effects one's status and ratings of performance. His other research interest include psychology and the law, in particular criminal justice organizations such as police and corrections departments as well as juries.
Brian came to Baruch from NYU where he obtained his MA in I/O psychology. His master's thesis was on the "old boy network" in policing. His BA is in psychology as well from Castleton State College in Vermont. In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, running and snowboarding.
