Global Executive Fellows Certificate Program

About the Program
The Global Executive Fellows Certificate Program is designed for groups of mid to senior-level managers seeking to strengthen and enhance their knowledge in the areas of public and non-profit administration. The Marxe School’s certificate program runs for up to 2 weeks and is customized for executives, working professionals, government employees, and entrepreneurs and allows participants to pursue their studies without interrupting their careers.

Sample Topics Include: Public and Non-Profit Administration, Business Communications, Marketing, Urban Planning, Crisis Management, International Nongovernmental Organizations, Trade Policy and Global Economic Governance, and Western Hemisphere Affairs

Program Objectives
Our core objectives are to enrich the knowledge and skills of management leaders and to foster innovative strategies for excellence in the management of public office. We focus on strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving to meet the unique needs of global management leaders. Fellows will receive a Certificate of Academic Achievement upon successfully completing the program requirements.

During the program, each learning session will be taught at Baruch College by highly qualified instructors from our faculty. Program materials and readings will be provided by us. Depending on your targeted goals, Customized Programs will include one or more of the following components:

  • Seminar Courses: Participate in seminar courses taught by Baruch College faculty with extensive knowledge and experience. Course content and assessment components will be determined on a case by case basis based on the needs of your group.
  • Site Visits:  Group visits to local organizations, agencies or institutions where participants can observe classroom learning implemented in the field as well as to local attractions, including local museums, landmarks, shopping centers, etc. We also offer optional visits to the U.S. Capital, Washington, D.C., or Boston, MA
  • Professional Guest Speakers: Top representatives from local companies or organizations will offer customized presentations based on personal experience in the field.
  • Themed Panel Discussions: Baruch Faculty and local professionals will present on a variety of topics relating to areas of public and non-profit administration.

Customizing Your Professional Program
The Global Executive Fellows Program is recommended for groups of professionals looking to develop knowledge and skills for success in their workplace. We take the time needed to work with you to develop a program that meets your specific standards, goals, and outcomes. Once we have an initial idea of your desired topic, we will begin putting together the various components for certification.

Submit a Custom Program Request Form and our team will begin assessing your needs and designing your program immediately. We will develop a program calendar and pricing with your needs in mind. Once an agreement is made, we will prepare a contract and begin securing your chosen program elements.

Program Prerequisites
Participants in the program must be mid-to-senior level managers at a government or non-profit organization. A TOEFL examination for non-native speakers of English is not required but participants are expected to read, write and comprehend English fully to participate in and gain from the program. Any requests for exceptions to these requirements must be discussed during the proposal process.
