New York Metropolitan ACS Geodatabase (NYMAG) 
The NYMAG geodatabase was created to facilitate mapping and analysis of census data in the New York metropolitan area. The data is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works license and can be used by anyone with some restrictions. You may not redistribute the database on the web without permission. The database is a Microsoft Access personal geodatabase and contains the following:
- State, metro area, county, PUMA, and place boundary files for the metro area from the U.S. Census Bureau 2008 TIGER line files
- PUMA-level American Community Survey data from the American Community Survey 3-Year Estimates
For more information about the data sources and structure, consult the metadata below. Consult the User Guide for basic instructions on how to locate and map data within the database. Boundary files in a shapefile format (without any of the data tables) are available for download at the bottom of this list.
