Event Description The ability to efficiently and consistently write compelling and polished documents that readers respond to as the writer intends and the organization needs is crucial to corporate integrity and sustainability. This workshop will introduce key aspects of corporate writing and editing processes. Topics include: - Strategies for producing writing that readers will understand on a first reading - Processes for writing and editing persuasive documents at the paragraph, sentence, and word level - Principles of plain language
Dr. Roslyn Petelin, Convenor, Writing, Editing and Publishing postgraduate program, University of Queensland (Australia) will facilitate the workshop.
