Join the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy as we welcome Thomas J. Linsmeier, Member, Financial Accounting Standards Board to Baruch College for the Emanuel Saxe Distinguished Lecture in Accounting. Mr Linsmeier's lecture is entitled Reporting Financial Performance: The Key to Resolving Many Vexatious Standard Setting Issues?

About the Speaker
Thomas J. Linsmeier, PhD, CPA, is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board. Previously, he was Russell E. Palmer Endowed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Michigan State University. He was an academic fellow and special consultant to the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and held professorial appointments at the University of Iowa and the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign earlier in his career.
