Candidacy Requirements

  • All Executive Programs candidates must understand the rigors of executive education and be motivated to excel academically while maintaining their careers and personal lives.
  • We look for candidates with five or more years of professional, managerial, or supervisory experience (typically post-baccalaureate) and who hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent.

Additional Executive Program: The Doctor of Business Administration

This special program offers senior executives educational opportunities in cutting-edge business research at the doctoral level. Some students plan to apply their research knowledge to problems facing their organizations in ways not possible with just a master’s degree, and others plan to use the degree as a springboard to an academic career and teaching.

The DBA program is covered separately in the doctoral section of the Baruch College Bulletin; more information can be found here.
