QGIS Software for Download

The manual was written for QGIS version 2.6 (Brighton). Because there are enough differences between versions you should download and install 2.6 if you are taking the workshop.

The QGIS website defaults to the most recent release version for downloading (as of Mar 2015, 2.8 Wien is the most recent release).

Raster Tutorial for QGIS: an addendum to the practicum that focuses on working with raster data.
