The Office of Student Life develops the co-curricular college experience of Baruch students through a rich array of educationally diverse programs, opportunities for leadership and civic engagement, club and organization development, and community building. A native of upstate New York, Karl is thrilled to be a part of the Student Life team at Baruch. A graduate of Elmira College with a Bachelors in Psychology and Social Work, Karl developed a passion for student engagement and involvement and chose to pursue a graduate degree at The University of Maine in Student Development in Higher Education. Prior to coming to work at Baruch, Karl has worked at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, The University of New England and Hofstra University in Student Activities, Residence Life, Multicultural Affairs and Orientation Programs. In his position, Karl works with all undergraduate and graduate student organizations, USG, GSA and large scale programming. Outside work, Karl loves to travel, do anything pop culture related and spend time with family.

Crystal is delighted to be a part of the Student Life team at Baruch College! A native New Yorker, Crystal earned a B.A. in Psychology from St. Joseph's College and a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College. After three years of serving inner city youth as a social worker, she is now using her youth and leadership development knowledge to enhance the co-curricular experience for students as the Assistant Director for Student Activities. In her free time Crystal loves to bake, dance and spend time with friends.

Clay serves as the Assistant Director of Student Activities in the Office of Student Life. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Clay now calls NYC his home. He attended Belmont University in Nashville where he earned a B.B.A. in business management. Immediately following Belmont, Clay enrolled at Vanderbilt University for graduate school where he obtained his Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs. While at Vanderbilt, Clay worked as a graduate assistant, working with over 500 student organizations, developing orientation programs for first-year and transfer students, and implementing various initiatives aimed at increasing student engagement and preparing college students to be successful after graduation. Prior to joining Baruch, Clay worked in marketing for a large higher education technology company in New York City. Clay currently lives in Brooklyn and spends much of his free time exploring everything the city has to offer or traveling outside of the city to visit friends and explore new places.

Fatou Fifi Diaw is originally from Senegal. She arrived in the United States in 2008 with no English. She got her High School diploma from Manhattan Comprehensive Night and Day High School, graduated from Lehman College in 2015 with a Bachelor in Political Science and a Minor in African-American studies. She was one of the first graduates of the CUNY Service Corps Program and served as Student Services Officer in the Lehman College Student Government Association. Fatou has a degree in Human Rights from Universidad Bolivariana in Chile and is now pursuing a Master degree in Public Administration at Baruch College concentrating in Public Management and Non-profit. Fatou is very committed to public service and has spent half of her career on volunteering and giving back. She chaperoned students to Tanzania for a service trip and volunteered in the Dominican Republic with an organization that help unfortunate disabled kids. Fatou is now working with an international organization to help develop her community and her village back in Senegal. Fatou is our proud Graduate Assistant and Club Advisor for the Office of Student Life. She is very dedicated to making a difference in her community and around the world. Fatou's motto is "Lead,Serve and inspire".

Emma is so excited to be joining the Baruch Office of Student Life. Originally from Long Island, she hasn't strayed too far from home; she earned her B.A. and B.S. degrees from Binghamton University, and is currently a student in the Higher and Postsecondary Education program at Teachers College. Emma has been involved in various realms of student affairs throughout her time at Binghamton University, and most recently at Teachers College and Columbia Engineering. At Binghamton, Emma worked with New Student Programs, Academic Advising, and in the Student Association. At Columbia University, Emma was a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Affairs at Teachers College, as well as Coordinator of the Columbia Engineering SHAPE summer program. Emma has a particular interest in student activities, and is a lover of food and a cappella.
