        Summer Session Helps Us All

Dear Faculty,

I am writing to ask your help. Even if you will not be teaching this summer, you can contribute to the success of Baruch’s Summer Session 17. Each year Summer Session offers a real opportunity for our students and for the College.

First, Summer Session classes help students stay on track, catch up, or get ahead with the undergraduate- and graduate-level courses they need to earn their Baruch degree. More than 400 options in business, arts and sciences, and public and international affairs will be offered in three sessions:

  • Session I: June 12-July 13 (five weeks)
  • Session II: July 17-August 17 (five weeks)
  • Session III: June 12-August 17 (ten weeks)

Taking summer classes eases students’ stress from overcrowded schedules in Fall and Spring terms.

The Summer Session web address is easy to remember: Current students can browse courses and register for Summer Session through their CUNYfirst account. Registration for Summer Session is now open.

Second, as you know, Summer Session enrollment helps the entire College community. Summer Session enrollments impact Baruch’s bottom line, provide a direct financial benefit to our College.

For these reasons, I ask you to join me in encouraging your students to consider signing up for Baruch’s Summer Session ’17. To assist you in that effort, today you will receive in-class handouts in your faculty in-box. These flyers provide students with general and contact information for Summer Session ’17. Please feel free to photocopy the flyer if you need more copies.

I thank you in advance for your support with increasing our summer enrollment. Maintaining academic momentum toward completing the degree is so important to student success. Encourage students to stay focused on that goal.
