Baruch College Presents 'Campaigning
in the Digital City'
School of Public Affairs to lead discussion on digital media and the race for mayor
NEW YORK, NY September 9, 2013- Baruch College's School of Public Affairs and Hill + Knowlton Strategies invite you to a panel exploring digital media and the 2013 race for New York City Mayor on Thursday, September 19.
The discussion will be based on the H&K Digital Engagement Index, which rates the online performance of the leading mayoral candidates. Findings from a new survey conducted by Baruch College Survey Research, which explores how New Yorkers use social media to engage with the candidates, will also be revealed.
Speakers include Doug Muzzio, Baruch College Professor of Political Science; Josh Hendler, Global Chief Technology Officer at Hill + Knowlton Strategies; Azi Paybarah, Political Reporter and Blogger; Capital New York, and others.
