Baruch College's Corporate Communication International Hosts 11th Annual Symposium:
What is the Reputational Risk of Being Politically Active?
NEW YORK, NY - March 20, 2013 – To address the political concerns that corporations are now facing, with job creation, climate change and social issues, Corporate Communication International at Baruch College will sponsor the 11th annual symposium: “What is the Reputational Risk of Being Politically Active?” The event, hosted by Pfizer and offered in association with the Communication Leadership Exchange (CLE), is scheduled from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., Friday, April 5 at Pfizer’s corporate office, 235 East 42nd Street.
John P. Santoro, the Executive Speechwriter at Pfizer, will open with a welcome address, followed by presentations and a panel discussion with industry leaders, including: Peter Hirsch, EVP and Director, Reputation Risk of Oglivy Public Relations; Alan Kelly, Founder and CEO, Playmaker Systems, LLC; Peter A. Peyser, Principal, Peyser Associates; and Tracy Benson, Managing Partner, On the Same Page, LLC & Past President, CLE. Sherry Scott, a consultant with Gagen MacDonald and President, CLE, will give the farewell address.
