PSY 1001 - General Psychology

Curious about why people think, feel, and act the way they do? This course is your starting point. Students are introduced to the scientific study of psychology, including but not limited to, cognition, neuroscience, emotion, personality, social psychology, motivation, psychological disorders, and applied psychology. Learning about psychology as a science occurs through lectures, class work, and participation in research related activities. A grade of C or better in PSY 1001 is required to register for PSY 3001, and therefore, to be considered for the Psychology major.
