This course presents a rigorous treatment of the limit, continuity, differentiability, and integrability of a function of one variable. Other topics include real numbers and the axiom of continuity; convergence of a sequence of real numbers; elements of point set topology; and extensions and generalizations of the law of the mean.
Prerequisite: Any one of the following three 3000-level calculus courses: MTH 3020, 3030, or 3050 and Any of the following nine 4000-level courses: MTH 4000, 4009, 4030, 4200, 4210, 4215, 4220, 4240 or 4315
