CHM 2003 - General Chemistry I

Undergraduate | 4 Credits | 3 Lecture Hours; 3 Lab Hours
This course is a survey of the basic principles and laboratory techniques of chemistry. Topics covered include stoichiometry, electronic structure of atoms, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matter, and solutions. Recommended for science majors and students with strong chemistry backgrounds. Not open to students who have credit for CHM 2100.
Prereq: Biological Sciences Plan or (Liberal Arts Ad Hoc Plan with Biology Sub-Plan) or Chemistry Minor or Natural Sciences Minor or Environmental Sustainability Minor. Antirequisite: Not open to students who have credit for CHM 2100.
