Introduction to GIS Using Open Source Software

8th 9th edition (July 2017Apr 2019)

QGIS example

The manual was written for QGIS version 23.18 4 (Las PalmasMadeira), which is the curent current Long Term Release version. Because there are enough differences between versions you should download and install 23.18 4 if you are taking the workshop.

The QGIS website gives you the option to download the Latest Release or Long Term Release - this workshop always uses the Long Term Release. 2.18 Las Palmas is  3.4 Madeira is currently the LTR release.
