At any point during your time as a Baruch student or even as an alumnus, please feel free to make an appointment with the Max Berger Pre-Law Advisor. This advisor can help you plan for law school, provide you with information on which law schools are right for you, review personal statements and other application materials, and provide general support for the process.
In addition to meeting with your Advisor, the Max Berger Pre Law Program allows you to engage in a series of workshops and special events (Legal Career Panels, Law School Fairs, etc.) that will assist you in the process of preparing for law school. For example, the Pre Law Summer Institute is held consecutively each winter & summer. The Institute is a competitive intense program designed for students to develop skills and gain valuable information in preparation for law school. Applications for this program are accepted and reviewed in the fall & spring semesters. Click on Programs and Activities to the right for more information about this and other pre law opportunities.
Many of the participants of the Max Berger Pre Law Program are also active members of the Pre Law Society, a student run organization at Baruch College. PLS provides students with the opportunity to interact with other students interested in law. Club meetings are tailored to help students prepare for the law school application process and for choosing a career in law. Meetings are held on Thursdays during club hours.
