Event Description:
An exhibition of the American artist Theresa Ferber Bernstein (1890-2002), the only artist to have made and exhibited work in every decade of the twentieth century, will open at the Sidney Mishkin Gallery at Baruch College on November 7, featuring paintings drawn entirely from the largest and most comprehensive private collection of the artist’s work, owned by Martin and Edith Stein. November 7 – December 11, 2013 at The Sidney Mishkin Gallery of Baruch College, 135 East 22nd Street and Lexington Avenue. Exhibition Hours: Monday-Friday, 12 noon to 5 PM Thursday, 12 noon to 7 PM. Opening reception November 13, 6-8 p.m.

A related symposium on Theresa Bernstein will take place at the Vertical Campus of Baruch College, in the Simon Conference Room 14-220, at 55 Lexington Avenue, at 25th Street, on Wednesday November 13, 2013. It is free and open to the public, but reservations are required -- CLICK HERE to reserve.
