Fiction Workshop with Spring '18 Writing Fellow Nafissa Thompson-Spires

Thursday April 26, Room 7-160, Studio H, 12:30-2:15 P.M. 

Nafissa Thompson-Spires is the author of the debut short-story collection Heads Of The Colored People. She earned a doctorate in English from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Illinois. Her work has appeared in Story Quarterly, Lunch Ticket, and The Feminist Wire, among other publications. She is a 2016 fellow of the Callaloo Writer's Workshop.
