Event Description:

This is an intensive two-hour seminar covering the typically misunderstood federal Form 990 that must be filed by hundreds of thousands of U.S. public charities and other Not-For-Profits each year.  Mr. Laurence Scot will demystify many of the form’s complex and confusing questions and terminology and show you how to avoid being audited by the IRS by providing consistent and accurate answers.

Topics covered will include (among other areas):

-properly reporting officers’ compensation
-cash and non-cash contributions
-meeting the public support test
-timely submission of return to avoid expensive late filing penalties
-reconciling 990 with financial statements

Submit your technical questions before-hand and the speaker will try to answer them during the presentation (if time allows).

We look forward to having you onboard!
