Dr. Georgina Falú


Dr. Georgina Falú is a scholar, educator, translator, High Level Executive and leader (through her project- AFROLAA (Afro-Latinos of the Americas) in the movement for all Afro-Latinos to gain consciousness and learn about their African Heritage and History.

Dr. Falú was the first woman Dean of the Management College at the University of PR, the first woman VP of Finance for UTS-Columbia Univ. and the first woman Dean of Academic Support at Touro College. She has a Doctorate in Education & Finances of Non-Profits and a Master in Arts from Columbia University, an MBA from Berkeley-California U, a Diploma- Harvard Graduate School of Management and a Bachelors Magna Cum Laude from the University of P. R. She was named PR's Woman of the Year in Education in 1974. She created the first university course in the country with “Afro-Latinos” in the title: “Afro-Latinos History and Culture’, wrote the first book titled “Afro-Latinos USA”.
