Successful businessman and Baruch alum John Raggio (’68 BBA) is the co-founder of Sealift, a multi million-dollar New York-based shipping company. Join this interactive round table discussion with the entrepreneur himself to hear how he did it. Seats are limited to 35 students only.

About John Raggio
John J Raggio is one of the founding partners of Sealift, LLC based in Oyster Bay, New York. The privately- held company was a ship brokerage and operations house from 1975 until 1985, when they purchased their first American flag vessel and were awarded a long-term charter to the U.S. Military Sealift Command (MSC).
Raggio is well-versed in the business of protection and indemnity insurance as he is not only the point of contact at Sealift for their ships insured by the American P&I Club but also serves on the Board of Directors of the London P&I Club.
Sealift Holding, Inc and their Subsidiaries Presently owns and operates five U.S. Flag ships all of which are on long term charters to the military We are presently in the market to purchase additional vessels to trade in the spot grain market.
