Event Description:
Join us as we kick off Black History Month 2014. This year’s theme will explore the African American struggle for civil rights and how it affected society as a whole. Dr. Arthur Lewin, professor in the Black and Latino Studies Department at Baruch College, will be delivering the keynote address. Baruch student organization, Music and Performing Arts Guild, will be performing on the issue of civil rights in America.
