"Exploring the U.S. Census: A Roadmap for Researchers"
Abstract: As the Geospatial Data Librarian at Baruch College CUNY, Frank frequently introduces students, faculty, and practitioners to the US Census as a data source for conducting many types of research. In this talk, he will share useful tips and resources for both researchers and teachers who want to integrate census data into their courses. He will discuss the importance of the census in American society, highlight applications of the data, and provide a synopsis of the different datasets. Many examples will be drawn from his new book "Exploring the US Census: Your Guide to America's Data" published by SAGE.
