Event Description:
Grants for Graduate Study for Foreign Service Careers, and for Study, Research or English Teaching Assistantships Abroad

This presentation provides an overview of fellowships that fund graduate school for U.S. Foreign Service Careers such as the Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship and the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship. We will also discuss the U.S. Student Fulbright Program which provides grants in ALL fields of study for graduate study, research projects or English Teaching Assistantships in a country outside the U.S. The session will offer advice on selecting a fellowship opportunity; and give suggestions on competition strategies.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens and include: graduating seniors, and recent bachelor’s degree recipients; master’s and doctoral candidates; and young professionals.
