7:30 PM - 9:30 PM Baruch Fine & Performing Arts Center presents: "Lysistrata"

LYSISTRATA, Aristophanes' ancient Greek sex comedy tells the story of one woman's fight for peace. War has been raging between the Athenians and Spartans in Greece for over 20 years. Tired of sending their men and children off to war, Lysistrata gathers the women from both sides of the conflict to join forces to achieve peace. Her plan - go on a sex strike!  Come see this classic battle of the sexes in LYSISTRATA, Aristophanes' anti-war play wrapped in a sex farce that is still as relevant today as it was in 500 BC. Directed by Christopher Scott.

Tickets: $10; available at the door ONLY
