12:30 PM - 2:30 PM Alpha Kappa Psi, General Interest Meeting #3, Spread the Love
An event where the Brother members of Alpha Kappa Psi and students will be preparing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as well as additional snacks, to be placed into decorative snack packs. These snack packs will be delivered to a local food bank and/or homeless shelter in order to feed people in need.
12:30 PM - 2:30 PM General Interest Meeting #1
The Roller Hockey Club will be looking to host its first General Interest Meeting of the semester. We will be discussing the details of our club/tournament team and answering all questions related. Refreshments Will be Served!

12:30 PM - 2:00 PM The Changing Role of Management Accountants--- by Visiting Scholar, Solveig Reissig-Thust

Please join us  for Prof. Dr. Solveig Reißig-Thust’s lecture on the “Changing Role of Management Accountants”.  She is the Academic Director for the MBA in International Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, Baruch’s partner university in Germany. Prof. Dr. Reißig-Thust will be at Baruch from September 1 - 12 as part of an Erasmus Program Faculty Exchange Program.

Description: During this lecture the changes in role profiles and tasks of managerial accountants are presented. Recent empirical results for the top 10 future controlling trends from Germany, Switzerland and Austria will be shown and discussed. They compromise the role as a business partner for the management as well as accountant's contribution to compliance functions.

If you’re interested in graduate school, join Baruch’s Continuing and Professional Studies for a free workshop about the GMAT and GRE tests.  Learn about the structure, sections, and strategies for each test.  Meet instructors for the math and verbal sections, and ask questions.  Light refreshments served.

Come and watch the clubs at Baruch go head to head in this exciting game of Family Feud, Latinx style! Brush up on your Latinx facts, root for your favorite team, and see which “family” is ranked supreme!
7:00 PM Intermediate/Advanced Racquetball (Multi-Day Event)
As a more competitive class, you will have more time for gameplay, lessons & advanced drills, strategy, trick shots, footwork, court positioning, perfecting your serves as well as the return of serves, pinch & splat shots. We will be constantly working on your backhand. To take this class the student must have knowledge of all the rules of racquetball and have had experience playing the game.

Welcoming all graduate students to our first meeting in the fall semester! The Graduate Pride Society aims to represent the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex and Straight-allied graduate students in Baruch College, and help our members grow through professional development, civic engagement, as well as advocacy programming.
