This two-time Daytime Emmy winning comic and SiriusXM radio host has performed on HBO and on stages and clubs across the country. She brings her warmth and humor in 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother where she incorporates her own adventures in Jewish motherdom and her memories of growing up Jewish in suburban New Jersey with the voices of 50 Jewish mothers. This show reminds us why audiences across the country have fallen in love with Judy Gold, and why the LGBT communities are gaga for Judy Gold.

Judy’s most recent show, The Judy Show – My Life As A Sitcom ran from June 2011 to January 2012 in NYC and will be part of 2013 season at The Geffen Theatre in L.A. The NY Times made it a critic’s pick and called it, “Highly entertaining! Brash, Buoyant & Infectiously nostalgic.“ The Huffington Post said the show is, “Comedic Gold. A funny & fantastic ride! It’s the ultimate laughter-through-the tears tale.”

Judy was nominated for the 2012 Outer Critics Circle Award for The Judy Show, as well as a 2006 Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance for 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother. In addition, the show won the 2007 GLAAD award for “Outstanding New York Theater.” The NY Times called this one-woman show “fiercely funny, honest and moving.” A book based on the show was nominated for the prestigious Quill Award.

Judy has appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Dr. Oz Show and The Tonight Show and starred in TV shows on A&E, TBS, HBO, Comedy Central, LOGO and VH1. She received a Cable Ace Award and was seen in the smash hit film The Aristocrats. She won two Emmy Awards for writing and producing The Rosie O’Donnell Show.

Her special skills include screaming at her kids in public places, pretending that she’s listening to you while she’s texting, never following through with a punishment, stabbing her hand while removing an avocado pit, road rage, and embarrassing her kids in front of their friends.
