Baruch College Ranked #2 in "20 Best Master's in Educational Leadership Degrees"

New York, NY- September 8, 2017- Baruch College placed #2 on Top Master’s in Education’s ranking for the “20 Best Master’s in Educational Leadership Degrees for 2017.” This high ranking puts Baruch College’s educational administration program at the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs ahead of colleges and universities across the country.
According to the website: “Education is the soul of society, and those charged with its care have an inestimable responsibility. In our nation, those invested in educational leadership, the shaping of the next generation, includes principals, superintendents, assistant principals, academic deans, instructional coaches, and directors of curriculum and instruction.”
The ranking recognized programs for best preparing individuals to lead schools in a variety of functions. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for school principals is expected to rise ten percent by 2020 and even faster growth in certain regions.
In its description of Baruch College, Top Master’s in Education pointed to Baruch College’s New York City location and the unique diversity of the student body: “Every student of the 18,000 that attend the City University of New York Bernard M.
