Baruch College Named Among Top 300 Best College Values of 2016 by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance
Earns #3 Rank on List of the 10 Best Colleges with
Low Average Graduating Debt
NEW YORK, NY - December 21, 2015 - Baruch College has been named to Kiplinger's Personal Finance’s list of the Top 300 Best College Values of 2016, earning high rankings in multiple categories, including the #3 spot on the magazine's list of the 10 Best Colleges with Lowest Average Graduating Debt.
The rankings,which are based on data on nearly 1,200 public and private four-year schools throughout the United States, highlight those 300 colleges and universities that combine outstanding academics with affordable cost.
Baruch's rankings for the Top 300 Best College Values of 2016 are:
#3 - Best Colleges with Lowest Average Graduating Debt
#23 - Best College Value Public Colleges Out-of-State
#43 - Best College Value Public Colleges In-State
#118 - Best College Value Schools National Ranking
These latest rankings are in addition to the more than 25 national recognitions that Baruch College has received during 2015 alone, including those from U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Princeton Review, Washington Monthly, and College Choice. The complete list is available here.
For its methodology, Kiplinger assesses value by measurable standards of academic quality and affordability. Quality measures include the admission rate, the percentage of students who return for sophomore year, the student-faculty ratio and four-year graduation rate. Cost criteria include sticker price, financial aid and average debt at graduation.
