Language Labs

Our language labs are state-of-the-art language and audiovisual labs that include the CAN8 system. The labs offer language students access to a new world of information and proficiency through audio, courseware, and multimedia CD-ROM. Students can use the labs either in class groups or individually, like a library.

In addition to the ESL Lab, the Student Academic Consulting Center (SACC) offers free speech and accent-reduction tutorials for nonnative speakers.

Baruch College has a new ESL Lab with a large variety of  programs on pronunciation, rhythm, intonation, grammar, conversation management, vocabulary development, listening/lecture comprehension, and business-related communication skills. Click for more information.
