Theatre at Baruch

Baruch offers rich opportunities for students interested in theatre. In addition to course offerings in acting, playwriting, theatre history, and production, each semester the College sponsors a faculty-directed production engaging students in every aspect of the theatre experience, including acting, set construction, lighting, costumes, makeup, and advertising [Theatre at Baruch]. There are also upper-level opportunities for directing one-act plays and for training in stage design.

The Liberal Arts Ad Hoc Major in Theatre
Under the guidance of a faculty advisor, students may design an ad hoc major in theatre as preparation for graduate study or a career in theatre management or technical production.
