As a Master of Science Degree
The Department of Mathematics at Weissman offers a Master of Science Program in Financial Engineering. This program consists of nine required courses and three elective courses and can be completed in three semesters of full-time study, or five to six semesters of part-time study. All courses are offered after 6 pm, to accommodate the schedule of students with job commitments.
The program combines a rigorous treatment of the mathematical concepts required for modeling and solving financial problems with a strong emphasis on computational techniques. We prepare our students to know how to solve real-world problems, and have the communication skills necessary to present their work.
Application deadline for fall 2008 admission in the Baruch College Financial Engineering MS Program: April 30, 2008.
