The Department of Mathematics
Katherine Poirier 
I have been a graduate student in mathematics at the CUNY Graduate Center since 2003. My main area of research is Algebraic Topology, specifically, moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces and String Topology. I have enjoyed teaching at Baruch for four years. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in mathematics from the University of Toronto.
