BARUCH COLLEGE M.A. PROGRAM IN ARTS ADMINISTATION: A SUGGESTED CURRICULUM

This schedule envisages a full-time commitment.  The same progression of courses, however, is recommended for the majority of our students who will be studying part-time.  Note that the eight courses listed by name and number on this schedule are required for the M.A. degree in Arts Administration.

Students can elect to pursue any of the following tracks: Artist Manager/Agent, Theatre Producer, Gallerist/Auction House Specialist, Music Producer/Promoter, External Affairs Director, Arts Management Consultant, Museum Manager, Theatre Manager, or Nonprofit Arts Organization Manager.

(Abbreviations:  PAF -- courses in Baruch's School of Public Affairs; FPA -- courses offered by the Department of Fine and Performing Arts in Baruch's Weissman School of Arts and Sciences; ACC, FIN, LAW, MGT and MKT -- courses in Baruch's Zicklin School of Business)
