Julie Des Jardins is Professor of History, specializing in the history of American gender. She has written several books, Lillian Gilbreth: Redefining Domesticity (2012),The Madame Curie Complex: The Hidden History of Women in Science (2010), and Women and the Historical Enterprise in America: Gender, Race, and the Politics of Memory (2003). Walter Camp: Football and Manhood in America was published in 2015.
