Robert A. Friedman, MBA ('67),
Emeritus Trustee, Baruch College Fund
Mr. Friedman is a retired partner of The Goldman Sachs Group, L.P. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1968 and since served as a member of the Management Committee of the firm, as the Chief Financial Officer of the firm and as partner-in-charge of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Group. He is also a founding principal of Sage Capital Management Corp., an investment management firm that provides investment management services to high net worth individuals and institutions.
Additionally, Mr. Friedman is an Overseer and member of the Investment Committee of Colby College; a Trustee of the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America; a member of the Board of Directors of the Physicians Hospital Organization, an advisor to the Finance and Investment Committees and Co-Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Hospital for Special Surgery; a member of the Tufts University Medical School Board of Overseers; and an advisor to Asset Management Advisors.
